Bethel Welding is a licensed and insured fabricator of iron products located in the heart of Central Virginia and the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Over the years we have successfully completed a wide range of products stemming from customer requests. Entrance gates, railings and fences constitute the majority of our work, but other products range from candlesticks to heirloom iron beds.

Jerome Bethel, owner of Bethel Welding, began his welding career with vocational classes in high school. Employed for over 30 years with Glamorgan Pipe Foundary, Cardinal Steel, and Commercial Steel in steel fabrication and erection, he became disenchanted with life on the road for weeks at a time. While still employed, he started Bethel Welding in 1980 as a part-time business. When he completed an entrance gate for his sister's new home in 1994, Jerome decided that custom fabrication of products for the home was his new love, and Bethel Welding became his full-time business. Since then, most orders have been the result of referrals from present customers, and many of those customers have become friends as well.
